Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Jains, and Sikhs in Europe: Interfaith Conference in Rome

Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Jains, and Sikhs in Europe: Building Fraternity through Dialogue and Collaboration

The Institute of Jainology is pleased to support and participate in the upcoming interreligious conference “Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Jains, and Sikhs in Europe: Building Fraternity through Dialogue and Collaboration”, taking place in Rome on 23–24 June 2026.

This important gathering will bring together representatives and members of Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jain, and Sikh communities from across Europe to strengthen mutual understanding, deepen dialogue, and explore practical opportunities for collaboration.

At a time when societies across Europe continue to reflect on pluralism, coexistence, and shared civic life, this conference offers a valuable platform for faith communities to build relationships rooted in respect, fraternity, and common purpose.

The event will be held at:

Aula Minor, Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas — Angelicum
Largo Angelicum, 1
00184 Roma, Italy

The conference is organised in partnership with several interfaith and religious organisations, including the Institute of Jainology, the World Council of Churches, the Focolare Movement, and other European faith bodies.

We warmly encourage members of the Jain community, interfaith partners, scholars, and all those committed to dialogue and collaboration to take part in this significant event.
