Jain APPG Election Manifesto

On 10th May, 2017 Jain APPG (All-Party Parliamentary Group) launched its first election manifesto. Below are the key workings of the current manifesto, and you will see related blogs and news on these points further below.

  • Jains should take a more active part in civic society and public life.
  • Jains should be represented in Parliament.
  • The next National Census should have a distinct option for Jainism as a choice in the list of faiths.
  • Jains should be represented at national events such as Remembrance Day.
  • The proposed Caste Legislation In British Parliament needs a clear assessment of how it impacts Jains.
