With the help of British Embassy/High Commission in Rome and India, FCO, MHCLG, Home Office and Sangat Centre
• Coordinated disembarking and flight to London of British Citizens stranded on cruise Liner Costa Victoria at Rome, Italy in the middle of Coronavirus pandemic.
• Coordinated the return to London of bereaved British Nationals stranded at Baroda India.

OSHWAL ASSOCIATION OF THE UK

Oshwal Association of the UK (OAUK), in collaboration with Dipen of Dips Foods Ltd and Rupal Jansari of DNS Accountants continued to provide free meals and or snacks in excess of 6500 to frontline heroes and added three new hospitals to their list. In addition they also serve hot meals to elderly and vulnerable who are totally housebound. OAUK further arranges web seminars on different topics and over 1000 people regularly join in.

This project has commenced last week and OAUK Trustees and staff and management of Dips Food and Rupal Jansari of DNS Accountants have so far been able to provide meals/snacks to NHS workers to hospital at Watford General, Northwick Park, Barnet, Chase Farm, North Middlesex, Arkley Care Home and St Luke’s Hospice. This service will be continued over the coming weeks to the hospitals stated above and there are also discussion to provide the meals to other hospitals which is in pipeline.

SHRIMAD RAJCHANDRA MISSION DHARAMPUR – BUSHEY

Have established a volunteer group of about 70 to assist vulnerable and elderly for their requirements of groceries and medical needs for members and wider communities. Have been entertaining members through yoga, kids club, devotional songs, lectures and religious discourses, cooking recipes, music and cultural programs, full body workout in home using a Chair (including mobility/warm up & stretches.)

Has continuously provided on line festival celebrations, health seminars, cultural programs, prayers and devotional songs for kids, youth and elderly members of the community

Have launched ‘Support Our Superheroes’ campaign and so far collected £6500 for ‘Superheroes Gratitude Packs’ to be distributed free to Frontline workers at Hospitals, Healthcare staff, Nursing & Care Homes staff, Public Transport staff and many others on a weekly basis. Under ‘Spreading Smiles’ initiative, food supplies have been provided to organisations supporting the homeless including Wythenshawe Foodbank in Manchester and Action Homeless in Leicester. Provide online seminars on yoga and meditation, anger and stress management, devotional songs, weekly prayers and cultural programmes.
