Members of the IoJ Education Team attended the 29th Anniversary celebration of the London Peace Pagoda in Battersea Park on Saturday, 21t June. A prayer ceremony is held each year and IoJ has had the pleasure of representing Jainism. Many faith organisations were represented and after a ceremonial start, each faith recited their prayer for peace. Our Deputy Chairman, Dr Harshad N Sanghrajka represented the Jain community and recited the final three verses from the Brihad Shanti Path in Sanskrit and then translated the same in English. This recital for peace is universal and eternal. The team members enjoyed the observance and parted company after the entertainment programme at the end of the ceremony.
