Education

Institute of Jainology is now formally registered as an INSTITUTE with the Companies House.  This is a special recognition granted only to those organisations which are involved in scholarly research and publication work of the highest standard.

Additional recognition of IoJ as an Institute has been provided by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) and Religious Education Council of England and Wales, both of which have appointed Dr Harshad N Sanghrajka as a consultant.

Institute of Jainology [IoJ] propagates values of compassion and non-violence, preached by Lord Mahavir, through art, culture and EDUCATION.  National and international educational activities of IOJ can be found on other pages of this website.

IoJ has been active in educational activities for many years in the UK.  Several avenues have been used by IoJ to fulfil their mission of propagating the values of Jain philosophy through education.  Details of various courses administered by IoJ are to be found in the webpages of this section.  This year, another first was added by organising Jainism courses in the Far East.

Through the propagation of such values, IoJ wish to create good citizenship, community cohesion and sustainable development.  Religion is but all these combined.
