The Institute is pleased to announce that there is also another Jain who has been honoured in this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours List.
Bharat Maganlal Mehta, formerly of Nairobi, Kenya has been awarded CBE for services to Finance in the 
Charity and Voluntary sectors. This follows the award of OBE 15 years ago. Such double honours are rare.
He is currently CEO at London Parochial Trust, a grant making charity in London. He is also a board member of a number of organisations including Home Group, London Funders, the Social Justice and Human Rights Centre Ltd and the London Emergencies Trust.
Previously he was the CEO of the National Schizophrenia Fellowship and was a chair of Governors of Bowes Primary School. He served as a number of Government and Civil Society Commissions and advisory groups.
The Board of Directors extend their congratulations to Bharat Mehta on being bestowed with this honour.
